Amazon Prime Wardrobe Review
Here is what Christina Bonnington from The Daily Dot said about her experience of ordering from Amazon Prime Wardrobe. Check out her Amazon Wardrobe review below:
Despite all the changes Amazon has made trying to make its site a hub for fashion,
searching and browsing apparel on the site still isn’t as easy as with a traditional retailer. Amazon’s wide variety of products is a double-edged sword: On the one hand, it means you can find a variety of similar products so you can find exactly what fits your needs. On the other hand, it can also make the process of searching for an item more overwhelming.
The ordering process, however, is dead simple, and being able to try on multiple items without heading to a retail store perfectly sated my inner sloth. Getting things packed back up and to the UPS store was a minor chore, but it’s about as easy as it could have been made.
In the future, I’ll definitely use Amazon Prime Wardrobe again. The ability to order and then try on several alternatives at once without immediately being charged was quite convenient. And hopefully, it saved a little bit on the box waste of ordering those items separately, too.

Amazon Prime Wardrobe vs. eBay
How is this going to affect eBay? Well, it might hurt a little but I don’t think it’s going to completely destroy them.
According to Terapeak, eBay’s Clothing, Shoes, & Accessories category has the highest total sales and the highest total listings of all categories on eBay.
The thing that eBay has in it’s favor that Amazon Prime Wardrobe does not is lower cost, used items.
For eBay sellers specializing in new with tag clothing (like BHFO, the largest clothing retailer on eBay), they might find it a little hard to compete with Amazon on this one. The only thing they might have in their favor is price. Someone will be willing to spend $5-10 on an item they didn’t try on first rather than spending $50-100 on an item that they CAN try on first.

More Potential Problems for eBay Sellers
There is a good possibility that your return rates will go up.
On Amazon Prime Wardrobe, buyers can order 3-8 items to try on. There is a possiblity that buyers might bring that same mindset to eBay and order multiple items from various buyers, try them on, and send back what they don’t want. With eBay’s Money Back Guarantee, there will be little that sellers can do to combat this.
eBay Clothing Seller Feedback
As a former seller on eBay of primarily apparel for about 8 years. I can say without a doubt, this will hurt sellers if they are forced to take returns after 7 days. About 10% of my business was dealt with returns under false pretenses some wanting to return as long as 30 days after delivery saying not as described when received. The package was not even opened yet, as well as coming back ripped or stained as stated above. Let the sellers decide weather or not they take returns. Myself I have a 24 hour after delivery. That gives them plenty of time to make sure it fits and nothing is wrong with it.

Prime Wardrobe vs. eBay Conclusion
While Prime Wardrobe is definitely going to affect eBay sellers selling new with tag clothing at top dollar prices, it is unlikely to affect used clothing sellers.
