BOLO Alert: Dungeons & Dragons Books

Its very exciting to get an item that we can buy low and sell high in a short amount of time. Here is something to be on the lookout for (BOLO) when you are pickin’.

A few weeks ago my dad was at Goodwill and purchased two boxes of Dungeons and Dragons books. The Basic Set was priced at $3.88 and the Expert Set was $2.88. Neither one of the boxes had all the books that they were supposed to have, but after some preliminary research at the store we decided they were still worth purchasing.

Initially my dad wanted to sell both boxes of books on auction with a $50 starting bid and $65 buy it now, plus calculated shipping. Boy, are we glad we didn’t do that!

After I researched each book individually, I found out that we were going to be way better off by selling each book separately.

With $6.76 invested, we have sold 8 out of the 9 listings for a total of $177.92!
